This year marks an incredible milestone for us — 20 years of our children’s classes!
Since 2005, our school has been a place where young people come not just to learn kicks and punches, but to grow in confidence, focus, and resilience. Over the years, hundreds of children have passed through our doors, and many of them have grown up with us — from their very first Little Dragons class to becoming senior students, mentors, and even instructors themselves.

Looking back, it’s amazing to see how much we’ve shared as a community. We’ve celebrated countless gradings, graduations and other events, but also faced challenges together — and always with that same Kung Fu spirit!
We still remember 2012, when our students proudly took part in the Olympic Torch procession as it came through Worthing. The rain was torrential — the kind that soaks you through in minutes — but that didn’t stop our demo team! Soaked but smiling, our students performed their hearts out, showing true determination and team spirit.
Then there was the challenge of adapting to online learning during COVID, when we found new ways to stay connected and keep training from home. Living room Kung Fu, virtual gradings, and family training sessions became part of our routine. It wasn’t easy, but our students’ commitment and positivity shone through, reminding us what our school is really about — resilience, community, and support.
And of course, we can’t forget the introduction of our much-loved Summer Fun Day, which has now become an annual tradition! What started as a small BBQ get-together has grown into one of the highlights of our calendar — a day of games, demonstrations, food, laughter, and a celebration of everything that makes our Kung Fu family special.

To mark this milestone, we hosted a special 20th Anniversary Celebration — complete with a graduation ceremony, student demonstrations, and a nostalgic slideshow of memories from the last two decades. We were also delighted to welcome the Deputy Mayor of Worthing, who joined us for the event.
From our smallest Little Dragons to our dedicated junior, youth and adult classes, Teach Me Kung Fu Schools continues to be a place where everyone can learn, grow, and feel part of something bigger. Our focus has always been on personal development and community spirit — and that won’t change.
As we celebrate 20 years, we want to thank everyone who’s been part of our journey — our students, families, instructors, and supporters. You’ve made Teach Me Kung Fu what it is today.
Here’s to the next 20 years of movement, mindfulness, and martial arts magic!
