Our Journey Together: How we team up with parents achieve success

At Teach Me Kung Fu Schools, we believe that every child has the potential to achieve greatness through kung fu training. As a parent, you play a vital role in unlocking your child’s capabilities, and we’re here to work with you to achieve this goal.

A Kung Fu Family

When you join Teach Me Kung Fu Schools, you’re not just signing up for a martial arts class; you’re becoming a part of our Kung Fu family. We understand that families support each other, and our goal is to foster an environment where everyone can thrive. From the moment you step through our doors, you’re welcomed into a community that values growth, discipline, and mutual encouragement.

A Partnership for Success

Our commitment goes beyond the training hall. We view our relationship with parents as a partnership geared toward ensuring your child gets the most out of their kung fu experience. Together, we aim to instill values such as perseverance, focus, and commitment in your child’s character, helping them develop skills that extend far beyond the realm of martial arts.

The Importance of Regular Attendance

Consistency is key in any endeavor, and kung fu training is no exception. We rely on parents to bring their children regularly to classes. By doing so, you’re not only supporting their physical development but also instilling the importance of commitment and routine. These habits will serve them well in all aspects of life, both now and in the future.

Building Perseverance, Focus, and Commitment

Teach Me Kung Fu Schools is more than just a place to learn kicks and punches. Our curriculum is designed to nurture qualities like perseverance, focus, and commitment – attributes that are fundamental to success in any pursuit. As a parent, you are instrumental in reinforcing these values at home, creating an environment that complements and enhances what your child learns in our classes.

The Principle: You Can Quit, but Not Until You’ve Had a Good Day

We understand that not every day is a good day. However, we encourage the principle that quitting is an option only after having a good day. This mindset is a powerful tool to teach children the importance of resilience and pushing through challenges. By embracing this principle, we empower our students to face difficulties head-on and discover the satisfaction that comes from overcoming obstacles.

Celebrating Success Together

Success in kung fu is not just about mastering techniques; it’s about personal growth and development. We celebrate every achievement, big or small, and encourage parents to do the same at home. Your support and acknowledgment of your child’s progress are invaluable in reinforcing their self-esteem and motivating them to reach new heights.

1. Celebrating success in class

We believe in ‘in the moment’ praise and affirmation and you’ll see a lot of high fives taking place during the session. Our instructors will sometimes speak to parents after the session as well to highlight a particular achievement or to give some positive feedback.

2. Celebrating success online

If there’s a good news story, we may ask you if we can share it on our social media pages or ask you to write a short testimonial. This is good for the student and also for letting others know about the benefits of the kung fu we teach. Let’s share the kung fu love!

3. Tracking Progress

Did you know we have an app called myTraining which enables students to track their attendance, progress through our grading syllabus and book onto upcoming events? There will be more features added over time.

Teach Me Kung Fu Schools is not just a place of learning; it’s a collaborative effort between instructors, students, and parents to create an environment where children can flourish. Together, we’ll guide your child on a journey of self-discovery, empowerment, and success through the transformative power of kung fu. Join us in building a future where your child can stand strong, both in and out of class.
